How we work
The EUR Association is led by a Steering Committee whose attributions are to:
- Settle the global EUR strategic goals
- Initiate and promote the main actions of the EUR Association
- Make decisions about the EUR membership of any new candidate
- Define the technical policy of the EUR Association
- Approve the organisation and contents of the technical activities of the EUR Association
- Approve the contents and authorise the release of the EUR Document and EUR certificate for design assessment
Each Full and Associated EUR Member designates one representative for participating on its behalf in the Steering Committee.
The EUR Administration Group (AG) implements and manages the decisions made by the Steering Committee. The EUR AG attributions are to:
- Identifiy the tasks and propose an adapted organisation to meet the objectives given by the Steering Committee.
- Review the documents produced by the EUR Association (Chapters of the EUR Document, EUR Topical Reports, design assessments...), and propose positions.
- Identify the points where the EUR Steering Committee arbitration is needed.
Each Full and Associated EUR Member designates one representative for participating on its behalf in the Administration Group.
Working Groups are set up following SC decisions to perform a technical task requiring the involvement of experts. Working Groups gather representatives from EUR Members for Projects with a limited duration, for:
- The update of the content of the EUR Document chapters.
- The assessment of design against the requirements of chapters of the Volume 2 of the EUR Document.
- Dedicated technical activities (e. g., high-level requirements for SMR).
Working Groups can also be set up to deal with EUR organisational tasks (e. g., preparation of training sessions).
